It was winnithe start for Team Nigeria to Day 4 of the World Athletics U20 championship as the quartet of Chidera Nnamani, Dubem Amene, Ezekiel Nathaniel and Bamidele Ajayi brought home the baton to win heat 1 of men’s 4x400m in a time of 3:06.70.
In second heat, Team Kenya pips Jamaica to the line to win heat 2 of men’s 4x400m, clocking a time of 3:05.77. Jamaica settles for 2nd place in 3:05.82 while Team Botswana also goes through to the final in third with a time of 3:06.33

In the other relay of the day, Team Nigeria’s quartet of: Kingsley Unorji, Mabilo Nicholas, Adekalu Fakorede and Godson Brume run a new African U20 Record of 39.33s to qualify for the final of the men’s 4x100m at finishing 3rd in heat 1 to book an automatic spot.

While South Africa Wins heat two of the 4×100 relay with a time of 39.33s after Botswana was disqualified for a false start.
