Cape Town City Midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane is adamant that Cape Town City are focused on beating both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in qualifying for the CAF Champions League.
Cape Town City is second on the log with 49 points from 29 games and with just a game before the end of the season.
“Everyone is excited, we want to play Champions League next season, and it’s actually in our hands right now,” Mdantsane told the media.
“We know what’s at stake, and we know what Saturday’s game means.
“The target now is to get maximum points to go play Champions League.
Cape Town City will be away to Stellenbosch on Saturday at the Danie Craven Stadium, a win for them will keep their CAF Champions League hope alive and pray Royal AM drops points in their remaining two games.
“We want to play in the Champions League, we deserve to play Champions League because we do have quality players.
“For us to be in this position right now it shows how much we want to do it and that will be quite an achievement.” He added
