In Table Tennis women’s Singles, It was a bright start for Edem Offiong against Lily Zhang of USA in the women’s singles round 2.

Offiong Edem took the first set, but lost four games in a row to USA’s Lily Zhang.

In Badminton Nigeria’s duo of Juwon Opeyori and Godwin Olofua lost their second Group B match to Denmark’s Kim Astrup & Skaarup Rasmussen, losing 2-0 (21-7, 21-10).

They will now play their last Group match tomorrow, against the Russian Olympic Committee’s Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov.

While Dorcas Adesokan played her first Group match in the women’s Singles of the Badminton event where She lost 2-0 (21-10, 21-2) to Clara Azurmendi of Spain.
