Ruth Marie Christelle Gbagbi has put Ivorian on the medals table after winning her 67kg taekwondo bronze match against Brazilian Milena Titoneli on Monday.

Gbagbi lost the semifinals match to Lauren Williams of Great Britain after defeating Naomie Katoka of DR Congo and Zhang Mengyu of China in the round of 16 and quarter finals.

Egypt also entered the medals table after Eissa Seif and Malak Hedaya both won bronze in the men 80kg and Women 67kg

Eissa Seif beat Ordemann Richard Andre of Norway in the bronze match while Malak Hedaya beat McPherson Paige to put Egypt on the Medal Table.

Tunisia leads the medals table among the Africa countries with a Gold and Silver and on joint 12th on Olympic medals table with Hungary, Egypt Is placed 42th with 4 other countries while Ivory Coast is on 46th position with 6 other countries on the Olympics medals table.
