Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, arrived at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria to attend the Zamalek match with Al-Masry as sports activities resumed in Egypt, it is the first league match after the league was halted sdue to the spread of the new corona virus.
The Egyptian General Football League competitions return according to precautionary measures and requirements, and according to the guideline issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports regarding the return of sports activity in the various sports federations, and after the completion of all medical examinations and swabs for the players and the technical and administrative teams to ensure their safety of their health.
The Minister of Youth and Sports assured everyone of the precautionary measures taken before the start of the Zamalek and Al-Masry match, in terms of measuring temperature, fumigating the stadium and all areas where the players are located, with medical teams to follow up the implementation of all health procedures and requirements.
Dr. Ashraf Subhi stressed the follow-up and coordination with the sports federations regarding the return of the various competitions according to the precautionary requirements and the executive steps that have already been announced, indicating that the safety and health of the players is the top priority of the ministry and the federations, and that all developments are being monitored and taken, Incase of any positive cases.
The Minister of Youth and Sports pointed to the success in the return of various sports activities and competitions in cooperation with the Olympic Committee, federations, clubs and youth centers in the context of implementing the comprehensive state plan to confront the new Corona virus in accordance with the precautionary and preventive measures in place.
