Six years after his death The South Africa Football Association, SAFA honoured Senzo Meyiwa by unveiling his tombstone which took place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday in which several dignitaries attended and these include KZN MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Ms Hlengiwe Mavimbela, Bafana Bafana players and technical team.
Dignitaries which included KZN Provincial officials, SAFA President Dr Danny Jordaan, SAFA NEC members and Bafana Bafana players and Technical Staff attended the late captain Senzo Meyiwa’s tombstone unveiling in Chesterville, Durban on Tuesday.
Senzo Robert Meyiwa was a South African professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Orlando Pirates in the Premier Soccer League, and the South Africa national team. He was shot and killed in a robbery on 26 October 2014
