The Senegal Train Express Regional (TER) was launched today by the Senegalese Government.

The Rail is an airport rail link in Senegal that connects Dakar with the Blaise Diagne International Airport.

The project was built by French companies Engie and Thales Group with a contract valued at €2 billion.

Travel time between the city and the airport is expected to be under 50 minutes. The Train Express Régional will serve 14 stations on a 55 km route.
