After a 3-0 advantage last weekend, Binga Football Club of Mali are in the news for a bad reason after the team arrived in Monrovia last night for their Total Energies CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary Round return leg against Club Breweries Liberia.
The team travelled by bus from Mali to the Liberian border and used Land Cruiser jeeps to Monrovia which look inconvenient for the players.
The Malian club will play the Liberia Breweries Club at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium tomorrow. Binga won the 1st leg 3-0.
Binga are Mali lower-tier side and got the opportunity to represent Mali in the CAF Confederation Cup after winning the Malian Cup.
The bad state of the team arrival to Liberia has made people to call on Malian FA and the Malian Government to supported the team with funds and other things to be able to participate well.
