The FIVB Women’s U20 World Championship was back after a day rest, with some thrilling action

Egypt lost their playoff 9-12 match against Turkey 1-3 (26-24, 15-25, 15-25, 20-25)

The Egyptians started the match very well winning the first set, before the performance deteriorated

Egypt’s outside hitter Ayah El Nady continued her stunning form in the championship, coming up as her side’s top scorer with 13 points

After the match she said: “Our passing was good only in the first set. Then we lost our focus. Now we have to work especially on that – gain back our focus and think about tomorrow’s match.”

Rwanda ended their journey, losing against Belgium 0-3 (14-25, 13-25, 13-25)
