Nigerians have reacted to reports of the Ghana Football Federation wanting to surprise Nigeria by not announcing their squad for the 2022 World Cup Playoffs between both countries.
According to the reports, the Ghana Football Association has reportedly decided not to announce the Black Stars squad to face Nigeria in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers decider against Nigeria.
They say it’s a “strategy to surprise their Nigeria in the playoffs matches later this month.
But the Nigeria football fans have said there is nothing to be surprised about even if Ghana revealed their squad a minute before the kickoff of the game in Cape Coast.
The Nigerians said they can only be surprised when they see the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Mendy, Mbappe in the Ghana Squad anything apart from that means the Ghanaians are afraid and don’t have players reason for the delay of their squad.
The optimistic Nigeria fans said, no matter the trick and delay Squad of the Black Stars of Ghana, the Nigeria Super Eagles will triumph both in Cape Coast and Abuja over the Black Stars of Ghana.
Ghana will host Nigeria in Cape Coast on Friday, March 25th with the return fixture taking place in Abuja Nigeria on Monday 29th March 2022.
The winner of the tie will join four other countries to fly Africa’s flag at the global competition billed for late 2022 in the Middle Eastern nation of Qatar.
