Fans, who have been cheering in the stands trooped to the pitch moment the final whistle was blown by the Tunisia Referee.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for the World Cup after a 1-1 full-time scoreline at the Moshood Abiola Stadium which saw the Black Stars of Ghana book their ticket to Qatar on away goal rule.
The fans also held the Nigeria Super Eagles hostage by blocking the entrance of the stadium when the team wanted to leave the stadium until the security were able to provide a safety route for the team.
