Egypt’s Football National Team coach, Carlos Queiroz has announced the list of foreign-based players that will participate in the World Cup playoffs against Senegal
The coach made the announcement on his official Twitter account on Tuesday with the names of nine players who are included in his provisional squad list:
Egypt and Senegal last clash during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations finals with the Terranga Lions claiming victory with a 4-2 penalty win.

Mahmoud Trezeguet (Istanbul Basaksehir FK)
The first leg will take place on the 25th of March at the Cairo International Stadium in Cairo, Egypt. The Teranga Lions in their turn host their AFCON final rivals for the second leg four days later on the 29th at Diamniadio Stadium in Dakar, Senegal.
The winner of the tie will join four other countries to fly Africa’s flag at the global competition billed for late 2022 in the Middle Eastern nation of Qatar
