President of Botswana, Dr. Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi, President of the Republic of Botswana, will undertake a Working Visit to Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, tomorrow, 15th March 2021.
During the Visit, His Excellency the President will meet with his counterpart, His Excellency Félix Antoine Tshesekedi Tshilombo, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), to engage on issues of mutual interest, including exploring ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, and advancing the region’s peace and security agenda.
Botswana and DRC enjoy strong bonds of friendship and cooperation which are founded on shared values of mutual respect and a common vision for regional integration, peace and security in the SADC region.
President Masisi will be accompanied by Honourable Dr. Lemogang Kwape, Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation, and Senior Government Officials.
The President and his delegation, will return to Gaborone on the same day.
