History is about to be wipeout totally from Nigeria with the way things are going in the country with the lack of maintenance culture in keeping our historical sites intact.

The amalgamation house is a historical site in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State, it signifies the birth of Nigeria.

It’s the building in which Lord Lugar British Colony Master signed the law that brought about the amalgamation of the Northern and Southern Protectorates of Nigeria in 1914, thus creating a single entity known as present-day Nigeria.

This place was supposed to be a rich historical site for Nigeria, a place the Nigerian government was supposed to maintain and preserve for future generations but today, the house is in Dilapidated conditions.

But now see the house in Ikot Abasi, where Northern and SOUTHERN Protectorates were amalgamated by Sir Lord Lugard in 1914. Are you wondering why Nigeria has fallen apart? Look at the Origin, since then, no President deemed it fit to renovate this historic site.
