Just like Kwara United, Gombe United will have to search for another home ground ahead of the kick off of the 2021/2022 NPFL season,this is due to the League Management Company refusal of granting their home ground Pantami Stadium.
League Management Company complain of bad maintenance of the stadium which consists of deterioration of AstroTurf pitch, dressing room, toilets and substitution/ reserve benches.
On receiving the letter from LMC, Gombe United is carrying out some maintenance work on the toilets, dressing rooms, reserve/substitution benches and the artificial turf of the Pantami Stadium with the hope that the LMC will rescind their decision and allow Gombe United to play their new NPFL season matches at home.
Gombe United will be at home to Shooting Stars SC on December 17th, 2021.
