The Nigeria Cricket Federation has announced the final 14 man list that will be flying the National colors at the ICC Under-19 World Cup Africa Qualifier in Rwanda. The team tagged ‘’Dream Team 2’’ has been camping in Abuja for the last 1 month with 25 players attending to ensure that the best 14 are selected. After a series of trial matches and training, the final list was selected for close camping in preparation for the tournament.
Nigeria made history in 2019 when they rose above all odds to qualify for her first ever World Cup in over 100 years of the Country’s history in the sport. The dream team 2’ hopefully will look to equal that feat and do the Nation proud once more.
The Only surviving member of the history making team that qualified for the last Under-19 World Cup, in 2019 Emmanuel Ochie Boniface, has been named Captain of the team to be assisted by Prosper Useni. Development player attached with the last team Nzube Nwokike also makes the cut.

The ICC under World cup is scheduled to take place in West- Indies in 2022 and Nigeria will have to battle against Namibia, Uganda, Kenya, and others for the single qualification slot.
