The Nigeria Basketball Federation has released a provisional 16 man roaster for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics without the inclusion of D’Tigers Captain Ike Diogu
The Skipper who was part of the team that book their Olympic qualifications at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China, may have played his last game for the National team, after being left out of the 16-man provisional list released by coach Mike Brown on Tuesday. Diogu led the new wave of positive changes in Nigerian men’s Basketball team, playing at two Olympics.
In the 16 man roster release by the Federation have Eight NBA players who made Nigeria’s 16-Tokyo2020 Olympics roster,
The team will be cut down to 12 where players like Jordan Nwora whose team, Milwaukee Bucks made the NBA Finals, Jahil Okafor of Detriot Pistons are expected to make the final roster.
