Royal Air Maroc has announced that they have made available 30 flights between Casablanca and Doha to transport fans for Morocco’s semifinal against France on Wednesday.
Each flight is expected to carry approximately 200 passengers to Doha where the Semifinals against defending champions will take place.
“Morocco is writing history in Qatar. The exceptional and heroic performance of the national team during the 2022 World Cup will forever be engraved in the memory of Moroccans,” Royal Air Maroc said in a statement on Monday.
Stressing the importance of fans’ support, the company said that its new offer seeks to allow many Moroccan fans to travel to Qatar to cheer for the national team.
The offer, which is set in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Morocco’s Royal Football Federation, covers nearly 30 flights that will fly from Casablanca to Doha on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Expressing pride for Morocco’s achievement in the World Cup, CEO of Royal Air Maroc Abdelhamid Addou said: “We are proud to be able to accompany this exceptional adventure of the Atlas Lions at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.”
The CEO emphasized that the national carrier will not hesitate to mobilize its technical and human resources to support the national team.
“We are all behind the Atlas Lions,” Addou concluded.
The flights will be available starting Monday at MAD 5,000 for a roundtrip.
Fans seeking to book their flights will have to visit the company’s website or travel to Royal Air Maroc commercial agencies in Morocco.
Travelers can also call RAM call centres for booking.
Royal Air Maroc also announced a series of facilitations, enabling fans to be able to reschedule their return flights free of charge.
