Three Liberians have been selected to oversee the semi-final match between hosts Senegal and Guinea Bissau at the West African Football Union (Wafu Zone A) under-20 Nations Cup finals at the Stade Lat-Dior in Thiès on 27 November at 19:30GMT (7:30PM Liberian time).
FIFA-badged referee Hassan Zinnah Corneh will lead the team and will be assisted by compatriot Sekou S. Kanneh, Jr. (assistant referee #1), Guinea’s Abdoulaye Sylla (assistant referee #2) and Tawel Camara Younoussa (fourth official) and Mali’s Moussa Birama Kanoute (match commissioner).
FIFA/CAF match commissioner and coordinator Andy Quamie will oversee security arrangements lead to, during and after the match.
It will be Corneh and Kanneh’s fourth appearances at the tournament.
LFA Vice President for administration Sekou W. Konneh, who is part of the organizing committee, served as match commissioner for Senegal VS Sierra Leone on 20 November; Gambia VS Senegal on 22 November; Sierra Leone VS Gambia on 24 November and Guinea Bissau VS Guinea on 25 November.
The tournament ends on 29 November.
