The Chipolopolo boys underwent their Covid-19 tests ahead of the Wednesday Group D clash with Namibia at the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Team Doctor George Phiri said the team were doing their third tests at the tournament as part of the tournament regulations.
All the teams participating at the CHAN tournament are mandated to undergo Covid-19 tests 48 hours before each fixture.
Preliminary results are given hours after the test while comprehensive results are given 24 hours later.
“We have had another round of Covid-19 tests, results will be ready by tomorrow morning,” Dr Phiri said.
Zambia plays Namibia on Wednesday at Limbe Stadium at 21H00 (Zambian time) in the final Group D game that will determine the top two teams that qualify to the quarterfinals.
Group winners will remain in Limbe/Buea for the quarterfinals while the second placed team will head to Douala.
Three teams in Group D still have a chance to qualify to the quarterfinals with Guinea and Zambia tied on four points while Tanzania has three points and could sneak in the quarterfinals with a win over Guinea.
