The draw for the 2022 FIFA World Cup African qualifying playoffs will be held on January 22nd in Douala, Cameroon, two days after the end of the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria, Algeria, Senegal Tunisia, Cameroon, Ghana, Mali, DR Congo, Egypt and Morocco qualified for the playoffs after topping their groups in the qualifiers.
Algeria, Senegal, Morocco Nigeria and Tunisia are the seeded teams and will be in pot one, meaning they will not face each other.
Egypt, Cameroon, Ghana DR Congo and Mali are the unseeded countries who will be in pot two, meaning they will be drawn against the teams in pot one.
The draws for the 2023 Africa Cup Of Nations Qualifiers which will take place in Ivory Coast will also hold on January 22nd, 2022.
