The Gambia Scorpions left Banjul this morning to Kinshasa via a Charter, Boeing 737-500 VIP Jet. The Gambians will play the Democratic Republic of Congo in Match Day 6 of the AFCON Qualifiers on Monday.


Tom Saintfiet’s charges, who’ve already secured qualification to Cameroon 2022, are on 10 points, levelled with Gabon.


However, the team will be seeking a victory against the Leopards to secure top spot in the group as well as to improve their FIFA World Rankings.
The delegation also include the President of The Gambia Football Federation, Mr. Lamin Kaba Bajo and the Honourable Minister of Youth & Sports, Bakary Y. Badjie.
