The officials seeding ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifiers have been revealed.
The seeding is based on the FIFA Rankings released on July 20.
With the qualifiers now concluded, the focus shifts to the all-important draw that will determine the groups for the tournament.
Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, and Cameroon are likely to face Host Ivory Coast, Defending champion Senegal of World Cup Semifinalist Morocco.
The draw will be held in Abidjan in October 2023. The 24 teams will be drawn into six groups of four.
With an expanded 24-team format, AFCON 2023, which will be held in January 2024, promises to be even more competitive than previous editions.
