Chipolopolo skipper Enock ‘Computer’ Mwepu has joined camp ahead of Friday’s Ivory Coast 2023 Group H Africa Cup of Nations match against the Coted’ivoire.
The Brighton & Hove Albion star becomes the 11th foreign based player to join camp in Accra, Ghana where the Chipolopolo is holed up as part of the acclimatization process in West Africa.
Mwepu arrived at 12:00 hours local time aboard Emirates Airlines at the Kotoka International Airport.
The arrival of the England based star leaves only four players to complete the 24-member squad.
Coach Aljosa Asanovic is awaiting Lubambo Musonda, Emmanuel Banda, Rally Bwalya and Gamphani Lungu to complete his squad.
Zambia opens its Group H account on Friday away to Ivory Coast in Yamoussoukro before hosting Comoros Islands four days later in Lusaka at National Heroes Stadium.
Tickets for the June 7 home match at National Heroes Stadium are already on sale in Shoprite outlets via Computicket with the prices ranging from K50-K200.
