The Zambia National Football Team has arrived in Tunis ahead of Tuesday’s Group B Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Carthage Eagles.
Beston Chambeshi’s charges touched down at the Carthage International Airport this afternoon aboard Emirates Airlines.
The team has set up base at the El Mouradi Gammarth Hotel and is expected to hold its first session later today.
Zambia thrashed Mauritania on Saturday to give their chances a boost with Tunisia stumbling in Malabo where they lost to Equatorial Guinea to blow the group open.
Tunisia and Equatorial Guinea are on 10 points with the Carthage Eagles enjoying a healthier goal difference while Zambia is third on seven points.
Mauritania is stuck at the foot with a point.
